I direct the Honors Program for MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. My academic degrees are in religion and education. My interests lie in world religions, philosophy, philosophy of religion, Christian scripture (Bible), practical theology, Christian education, etc. I also enjoy video game studies from interdisciplinary perspectives: education, psychology, sociology, culture, communication, media, aesthetics, history, narrative, curriculum, structure (ludology), and religion. I have published and publicly spoken on religious and video game topics approximately 50-60 times since 2009, when I finished my Ph.D. dissertation. My approach to teaching and tutoring is lively and discussion-based.
