I hold a B.S. in Supply Chain Management and a Master’s in Global Agriculture Development. These experiences gave me a strong multidisciplinary approach to learning and a deep curiosity about how people grow as learners. I love helping students not only master content, but also build both the empathetic and critical thinking skills that help them thrive in all areas of life.
I have two years of tutoring experience in Algebra and English composition with middle- and high-school students, as well as extensive professional writing experience spanning grant writing, journalistic work, and creative projects. My writing tutoring style encourages students to wrestle with ideas and shape them into clear, compelling arguments they can confidently share.
In math, I treat Algebra as a problem-solving toolkit; using the known to discover the unknown. I guide students to see math as a way of thinking, not just a set of formulas. This approach helps students gain confidence, persistence, and analytical skills that benefit them far beyond math class.
I also bring a global perspective to teaching. Having traveled to over 30 states and 30 countries, I’ve gained firsthand insight into diverse histories, cultures, and languages. I learned Arabic during my travels and enjoy teaching it in ways that connect language to culture and lived experience.
Learning, to me, is one of the most powerful ways to explore the world, and I strive to make every session spark curiosity, growth, and confidence in my students
