I have been teaching piano or over 30 years in Asia, Africa, and North America.
My goal is to help students find individual expression, confidence, and fun through music. Through my patient and tentative guidance, I teach students to read music fluently and develop aural skills. I am also a certified yoga teacher and have practiced yoga for more than 20 years. Therefore, I ensure my students play with healthy technique and posture. I also guide students in their daily practice to prevent potential injuries and pain from tension.
I teach students of all ages, from 3 to 75. In addition, I use various piano methods to help cultivate and motivate students to learn in a fun and creative way. With my positivity and enthusiasm, I easily connect not only to children but adult learners as well. I adapt to each student's unique learning needs and pace, which allows my students to excel. I am passionate about teaching and inspiring young musical minds.
