Hello, my name is Jamie H. and I am excited to be your foreign language tutor!

I was born and raised in Nanjing, China until I was thirteen. At fourteen, I moved to Kansas. My passion for languages led me to study Japanese and Korean in college and re-learn Chinese. I earned my BA in East Asian Studies, focusing on Korean and Chinese. Subsequently, I pursued a master's degree in Korean Studies, concentrating on Korean society, culture, and history. Later, I completed a second master's degree in East Asian Language and Literature, specializing in Korean Literature.
In the future, I hope to embark on a PhD journey in East Asian Language and Literature, with a specific focus on Chinese Literature. I am enthusiastic about sharing my love for East Asian languages with others. As a teacher, I bring energy, activity, and motivation to the classroom. Over the years, I have taught English, Korean, and Chinese to students of various ages. Your children will indeed have a delightful and enriching experience in my classes!

I was born and raised in China until I was 13 years old. I can speak, read and Write in Chinese! Furthermore, I majored in Chinese in college! I also go back to China every summer for at least one month to be exposed to the language and culture. I have experience teaching both children and adults for almost two years.

I graduated from the University of Kansas with East Asian Studies focused on Korean and Chinese. After graduation, I studied Korean language training for two semesters at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea! I am currently studying to get my master’s majoring in Korean Studies in Seoul, South Korea. I've been teaching foreign languages both in South Korea and in the US for over three years. I have experience teaching both adults and children.
