With 20 years of dedicated experience in education, I've had the privilege of working extensively at the elementary school level, helping young learners build a strong foundation in essential subjects. My expertise spans across elementary math, reading, and English as a Second Language (ESL). Over the years, I've developed a deep understanding of effective instructional strategies, particularly in the areas of literacy and language acquisition. I am well-versed in LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), which enables me to implement research-based reading instruction tailored to each student's needs. Additionally, I have significant experience providing interventions and enrichment, ensuring that all students, regardless of their starting point, can achieve academic success.

My educational background is equally robust, with two master’s degrees—one in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on ESL, and the other in School District Leadership. I have also pursued specialized coursework toward obtaining a Reading Specialist certification. Beyond my classroom experience, I have tutored students in reading and ACT preparation, helping them to excel in critical academic areas. My approach to tutoring is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right support and encouragement. I am passionate about helping elementary learners develop their skills in math, reading, vocabulary, writing, and English as a Second Language.
