I am currently a student at Kansas State University majoring in Elementary Education. Through both my coursework and hands-on experience, I have developed a strong foundation in child development, instructional strategies, and supporting diverse learners. I am working toward becoming a licensed elementary teacher and am passionate about helping students build confidence and skills that carry over into the classroom.

I currently work as a paraeducator and have been working in school settings for the past five years. During this time, I have supported students in elementary classrooms across a range of academic needs, including reading, writing, and math. My experience includes working one-on-one with students, supporting small groups, and assisting teachers during whole-class instruction. I have also worked with students who need additional behavioral or academic support, which has helped me learn how to adjust instruction and expectations to meet individual needs.

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe learning is most effective when lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to the student. I aim to break down concepts into manageable steps, provide positive reinforcement, and help students build confidence in their abilities while making steady academic progress.
