As a future licensed master social worker, I would like to bestow a passion for education and learning upon my peers. Knowledge is power and with that, we can help others. I was pre-med and have come to find different passions during my time at the University of Kansas. Thanks to the sustainable development trip I took to Central America I found my passion for anthropology and philosophy. I am in the process of earning a BA in Human Biology a concentration in behavioral sciences with minors in business and anthropology. I hope to become a therapist and advocate for women, children, and the vulnerable of this world through an outreach program.

Thanks to my mistaken passion for medicine, I have taken and passed several in-depth biology courses, chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry courses. Furthermore, I have a passion for nutrition and exercise sciences. In respect to anthropological sciences, I have done sustainable development projects with the Ch'ortí Maya of Central America, taken several courses on cultural anthropology, and am one class away from receiving a minor in anthropology from the University of Kansas. Lastly, I am well versed in the behavioral sciences aspect of psychology. In fact, have taken 3 advanced classes in the field including childhood development which plays a crucial role in teaching young minds.

I have been a student employee at Anschutz library for 4 years now and a student supervisor for a semester now. I think the best qualifications in most scenarios is experience. I have written many papers and lab reports alike in my four years of college and hope to pass on my knowledge to help others succeed. I also have a basic understanding of Spanish.
