I'm Minh! I hold a PhD in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Finance. My passion for teaching began during my undergraduate years and has continued throughout my academic journey, spanning over ten years of diverse tutoring and classroom instruction experience.
I started as a college tutor during my undergraduate studies, where I discovered my love for helping students understand challenging concepts. I later worked independently as a tutor, helping students of various ages and skill levels master a wide range of subjects including AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, Algebra, Calculus, and test preparation for the SAT and GRE Quantitative sections. As I progressed into my doctoral studies, my teaching expanded significantly to the university level. I served as Head Teaching Assistant for Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics, where I supported large lecture courses and led discussion sections. I then became the sole instructor for multiple courses: Game Theory for three semesters, the enhanced section of Principles of Microeconomics for three semesters, the enhanced section of Principles of Macroeconomics for one semester, and College Algebra. My teaching philosophy rests on three core principles: systematic course execution to ensure comprehensive coverage, blending rigor with intuition to make complex ideas accessible, and fostering an inclusive and friendly learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions. This diverse background has given me deep insight into how students learn at different stages and how to break down complex concepts into engaging lessons.
