I taught middle school and high school chemistry and science for 5 years, and have taught chemistry and organic chemistry and their labs for more than 8 years at the university level. I have taught students from all over the world: Canada, Jordan, Palestine, Israel, Sudan, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Nepal, Spain, Syria, and the USA. I love taking difficult topics and breaking them down into simple terms for my students to understand. I also enjoy making chemistry practical to the lives of my students. I teach my students problem solving techniques for chemistry rather than rote memorization.
I obtained my undergraduate degree in science from the Jordan University and my M.Sc. in organic chemistry from Mu'tah University. My PhD was conducted at TU Chemnitz, Germany, followed by 4+ years of postdoctoral studies at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. I taught chemistry and organic chemistry as an associate professor at the American University of Madaba, Jordan and currently at Tabor College in Kansas.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and to tutoring either in person in the Hillsboro, KS area or online. Please contact me with any questions or to schedule tutoring lessons.
