Hi, I'm Meg! I've been teaching middle and high school students in some way, shape, or form since 1997. Currently, I work full-time as a high school gifted facilitator. I'm also licensed to teach math grades 6-12. I love working with Algebra I students just as much as I love helping PreCalculus and Calculus students. My youngest son graduated in May of 2025; I enjoyed sharpening my PreCalc and Calculus know-how as he navigated these classes in high school. As a math teacher, one of my deepest joys is when I see a student's self-confidence grow and they realize, "Yes, I can do math!"
When working with PreAlgebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II students, I can confidently teach concepts independent of teacher-given curriculum; I also feel confident in my abilities to identify gaps in prior knowledge and work with my clients to strengthen those areas! When working with PreCalculus and Calculus students, I am much more comfortable when a client comes to the tutoring session with notes and/or an assignment from their teacher. At this level, I can also identify gaps in prior knowledge and help bridge that gap.
I look forward to hearing about your current needs and seeing how I can be of assistance!
