Algebra Tutoring

I am a licensed Math teacher, teaching in Modoc, living in Yorktown, with a great track record of incredible results of growth. I will meet at whatever public library is closest to the student.
I work with all ages, from lower elementary to adult/GED-type needs and anything in between. I specialize in Algebra and to a lesser extent Geometry, but prefer not to teach trigonometry or calculus (for future purposes). I am excellent at what I do, because it's what I have focused on for years. I am also excellent at brushing up on lower-level Math, filling in any gaps as needed, and bringing the student up to the Algebra level.
I would like to talk to you before our first meeting/session, to get a feel for what the needs of the student are, and where he/she may be currently, strengths and weaknesses, that kind of thing. There are a lot of possible scenarios out there, and I would like to find out what each student is looking for, prior to meeting for the first session.
I am an Indiana Department of Education licensed Math teacher, with over 5 years of experience working with middle school through high school students in the classroom. I specialize in Algebra but I have fairly extensive experience tutoring elementary-aged children as well. My wife is a 3rd grade teacher currently, with around 20 years of experience herself, and I have been helping tutor her students for close to that long myself, becoming somewhat of an expert at teaching lower-level Math, regardless of the age of the student.
