Hello! My name is John Winings, and I’m a graduate student at Purdue University studying astrodynamics. I’ve always been drawn to the challenges of problem-solving and critical thinking, which led me to pursue both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in aerospace engineering. I also earned minors in math and management, which have complemented my technical education with broader analytical and organizational skills.

Flexible and Helpful
John tutored me for my engineering physics 1 class I took this summer. He met with me on very short notice and at times which were convenient for me. He adapted a style of teaching which worked best for me. I would work out a problem and he would step in to help when I got stumped. He would also double back to make sure I knew what the question was asking and how the answer made sense from a conceptual point of view. All in all, he helped me to understand physics in a way that connect the formulas I was given to what the questions were asking me to solve. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Connects well with my daughter and patient!
John is a great tutor and we recommend for Physics. My daughter struggles with physics and is able to follow his teaching style. He is patient and was flexible when working with my daughters busy schedule.
