Hi! I’m Zack, a mechanical engineering student at Purdue University with a deep enthusiasm for learning and for helping others discover their own academic strengths. Throughout my educational journey, I’ve been lucky to learn from inspiring mentors who challenged and supported me, and tutoring gives me the chance to pass that gift forward. I believe that with the right support, anyone can thrive, and my role as a tutor is to help unlock the confidence and curiosity that fuel true understanding.

My tutoring experience began at a coding school, where I worked with children ages 7 to 14 from a wide range of backgrounds and skill levels. I taught everything from basic concepts like loops and functions to advanced topics such as object-oriented programming and game development. That experience taught me the importance of adapting my teaching style to match each student’s unique pace, personality, and learning preferences. I learned to view tutoring as a dynamic relationship, where building trust and genuine connection are just as crucial as reviewing material. Whether I'm helping a child grasp the logic behind code or guiding a high schooler through the intricacies of algebra or physics, I strive to make every session a space where students feel supported, challenged, and celebrated.

As an engineering student, I bring a strong foundation in math and science subjects, including calculus, physics, geometry, and more. Because I’m actively immersed in these areas myself, I understand the pressure of learning complex topics and I’m constantly refining my own understanding so I can better guide others.
