Hi, I’m Arya! I’m a Purdue University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, a minor in Mathematics, and a focus on software engineering and machine intelligence. I’m currently a Sensor Engineer at CrowdStrike, where I work on cybersecurity and cloud-native technology.
I have completed 5+ software engineering and technical internships and professional roles across cybersecurity, AI/ML, cloud systems, and software development. My experience includes building production software at CrowdStrike, developing ML infrastructure at Borde, building backend systems at Nutripair, and developing Apple Wallet and device integrations at Domatic. I’ve also conducted AI and data science research at Purdue.
My academic background includes algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, systems programming, operating systems, databases, and mathematics. In high school, I earned a 5 on all 10 of my AP exams, including AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Chemistry, and AP U.S. History.
My passion for teaching began in high school, when I created and taught an introductory Java programming course for middle and high school students in India. At Purdue, I continued mentoring students through the Launchpad program and tutoring high school students in STEM.
My tutoring philosophy is centered on understanding rather than memorization. I break difficult concepts into manageable pieces, explain ideas in different ways when needed, and give students opportunities to practice independently. I adapt my approach to each student’s goals, experience, and learning style.
Whether you need help with mathematics, computer science, programming, algorithms, or exam preparation, I’d be happy to help. My goal is to make challenging subjects approachable while helping students build the confidence and problem-solving skills to succeed independently.
