Hi, I'm Arya! I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with a minor in Mathematics at Purdue University, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. My academic journey has been marked by a deep passion for mathematics and computer science, demonstrated through advanced coursework including Linear Algebra, Systems Programming, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Analysis of Algorithms, and more! I also excelled in ten AP exams in high school, earning a 5 in all. These include AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Chemistry, AP US History, and others.

My tutoring experience began in high school, where I took on roles that allowed me to share my enthusiasm for STEM. As a volunteer at Zilla Parishad High School in India, I introduced middle and high school students to computer programming, creating and teaching an introductory course in Java. This experience ignited my passion for teaching and solidified my belief in the importance of making complex subjects accessible and engaging.

In college, I’ve continued honing my teaching skills through various initiatives. As a mentor for the Launchpad program, I guide students in developing technical projects and growing their interest in computer science.

I believe in creating a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging. My tutoring method involves introducing topics in an engaging and creative manner, followed by clear instruction and ample opportunities for independent practice. I adapt my approach based on the subject matter and student’s individual needs, ensuring they gain both understanding and confidence.
