Hi, I'm Rama! I recently completed my Master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I also earned my undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a 4.0 GPA in both programs. In high school, I scored a 1530 on the SAT. I have always loved STEM subjects and truly enjoy explaining concepts in a clear and thorough way. I believe every student learns differently, and I am determined to learn and adapt to each student's needs. I am flexible with topics and always willing to revisit material as needed to best support students. I also place a strong emphasis on planning, creating personalized lesson plans to help students stay on track to reach their goals.
My teaching experience began in high school, when I worked as a private tutor for courses including chemistry, geometry, algebra, and biology. In college, I continued tutoring for a year and a half in a classroom setting for a course on object-oriented programming in Java. I also spent a summer as a Lead TA for the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program, where I taught high school students from around the world about game design and programming fundamentals. During my Master's, I served as a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) for a course on user interface software, where I helped students develop GUI applications.
If you need help with STEM courses or SAT math preparation, please feel free to reach out! I'm most experienced in helping students in middle school, high school, and college.
