My experience working in schools started in my mom's classroom. My mom is a Kindergarten teacher. I began volunteering in her classroom, eventually I was hired by her school district and placed in her school. I spent time in every grade level there, but my time primarily was spent in 4th grade and Kindergarten. I later worked in other schools, and was requested to be a one-on-one tutor. My time tutoring didn't stop when I went into the Navy. While there I tutored fellow sailors on their job as well as getting them prepared to take their advancement tests. I also taught my best friend how to drive.
I enjoy helping the students succeed and overcome their struggles. I will try to find ways to make our sessions fun for you. I can usually see the problem in my head, and will try to find ways to make it fun and relatable for you. We will tackle where you are struggling and work as a team to overcome them. I enjoy seeing the students improve.
