When a student is excited about a topic, that does it for me. You can see it in their eyes, as if a fire has been ignited, and they are running with creativity and zest to learn all there is to know about whatever it is that has them captivated. My high is being a passenger along their ride through the power of their imaginations, because they are the real teacher of themselves; I am simply facilitating and gently guiding.

My educational experience includes history junkie graduating from Indiana University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, then heading off to the South to pursue a Master of Arts degree in early childhood education from East Tennessee State University (December 2012 graduation). Most recently, I am slated to finish a library science degree next spring. I am a glutton for educational punishment, you could say :)
