Hello! I’m Sadie and I am a current freshman in college majoring in Biology. I graduated high school a semester early in December of 2024 as Summa Cum Laude due to my exceptional academic abilities and decided to attend college early, as a result. I am currently expected to graduate with my associates degree in Biology in the Spring of 2027, but am currently working towards graduating early.
During high school, one of my classes my senior semester was called Teacher’s Assistant, which was a period of the school day in which I assisted the teacher with daily tasks and helping other students in the same grade as myself with their assignments. I was often able to explain the material in an easier way for many students to comprehend based on different learning styles and disabilities. In addition, I have privately tutored several elementary aged students for the past couple of years in order to meet or exceed grade level expectations.
My approach to tutoring consists of arranging an initial meeting with the parents/guardians to better understand the needs of the student, such as learning styles, and develop goals in which can be accomplished through tutoring. After the initial meeting, I will work with the student to discover the student’s learning styles and differences in order to apply to our sessions for maximum growth.
