Hi! My name is Sarah. I am currently an undergraduate student within the Purdue system. I started earning college credit when I was twelve years old, and I started high school at eleven. While in high school, I attended various colleges doing a mixture of dual credit and independent study. I have taken college classes with Indiana University, Ivy Tech, and Coastal Carolina University.
I started professionally tutoring my senior year of high school for Indiana University. Before then, I volunteered to peer tutor middle school and high school students. I have experience tutoring eighth grade math and above. Currently, I tutor college algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, algebra one, algebra two, and calculus for Indiana University.
For the university, I attend class with students and aid the professor in answering student questions. I assist in in-class and out-of-class learning. During exam season I host supplemental lectures reviewing material for exams in the university's tutoring center. I also post videos in canvas for students to aid students with their homework and at-home study. I have office hours in the tutoring center every day to help students hands on.
Why me? Well, I may only be eighteen, but I have the experience and knowledge necessary to help you or your child learn! I can empathize with students and help them not only study, but also with managing their time and coursework. I hope to help more students and earn money for my college degree! :)
