With my tutoring, I always take a big-picture approach, sure to help my students understand the foundational concepts around a topic so that the nitty-gritty details are much easier to understand! For example, when tutoring classes like physics, I always try to incorporate real-world examples into my explanations, helping my students have that "AHA moment." Via this top-down approach to learning which I introduce to all my tutoring students, I have gotten a perfect 5 on every AP exam I took in high school, including: AP Physics 1, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP Physics C Mechanics, AP Physics C E&M, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Psychology, and AP US Government.
