I’m a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a strong pre-med background, currently applying to medical school. I’m passionate about helping students master challenging material, visualize concepts clearly, and build confidence in their academic abilities—especially in psychology, biology, and writing.
During my degree, I completed a wide range of psychology courses, including Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Biological Psychology, Personality, Learning & Behavior, Sensation & Perception, Research Methods, and Statistics. This foundation allows me to simplify difficult content and help students make meaningful connections across topics—whether they’re in AP Psych, college courses, or prepping for the MCAT.
My tutoring experience includes mentoring middle school students through College Mentors for Kids and working one-on-one with high school and college students in biology, chemistry, psychology, MCAT prep, and academic writing. I also specialize in proofreading and editing essays, from class assignments to personal statements, focusing on structure, clarity, and tone while helping students express their ideas authentically and effectively.
Outside the classroom, I’ve conducted cancer research, worked in microbiology labs, and volunteered in clinical settings. These experiences bring a real-world perspective to my tutoring—especially for students interested in healthcare or research. My sessions are supportive, personalized, and designed to meet students where they are, using step-by-step breakdowns, visuals, and encouragement to help them succeed.
Also have experience working with Special Needs/ADHD students.
