Experienced German Language Coach

Kyle B.

Hi, I'm Kyle! I have my BA in German from Indiana University. I've also studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany and the Lutherische Theologische Hochschule, Oberursel, Germany, and I've lived there on three occasions. I have experience teaching German both online and professionally as an adjunct professor for German intensives. I love meeting students where they are and taking them to the next level. I am patient and encouraging in demeanor, and can help you achieve your German goals. When in Germany, I'm often confused for a native German. I've worked hard to achieve a native German accent and can help you sound more natural, too. Reach out to me if you'd like any of the following:
1. German tutoring for a class you're already taking
2. Intensive German Language Acquisition (I can accommodate you no matter how quickly you need to learn the language)
3. Accent Coach
4. Speaking Partner for Practice (grammar / vocab / accent work)

In addition to German, I also have experience teaching Latin. I've taught Latin to students from Middle school to graduate level. Whether you're just starting out or years into it, I can help at all levels. I teach both classical Latin and ecclesiastical. Reach out to me if you're interested in any of the following:
1. Latin tutoring for a class you're taking
2. A full Classical Latin curriculum I can walk you through from beginning level to advanced
3. Intensive Latin (I can accommodate you no matter how quickly you need to learn the language)
4. Ecclesiastical Latin

Because of my Master of Divinity, I also have experience with Koine Greek and Biblical Hebrew, both of which I read every week. Reach out to me if you'd like me to teach you Koine Greek and/or Biblical Hebrew. I've got the experience to do so. I'm your patient and encouraging partner to walk with through these complex languages, taking you from beginner to advanced. See you soon!
