I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Music from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a Master of Arts degree also from Ball State University. I started piano lessons at the age of 5. I have taught private piano lessons for over 20 years. In the school setting I have taught elementary general music K-6 as well as middle school and high school choral music for over 20 years as well. I was chosen twice as "Teacher of the Year" at the school corporation I worked for.

I have worked with individual middle and high school students as well as small groups in preparation for Indiana State School Music Association competitions.
I love working with students and do my best to make lessons enjoyable for the students. Each teaching assignment is geared toward the student's ability and individual learning pace. Any suggestions are welcome from students and parents. I will respond to any correspondence as quickly as possible.
