As the child of a librarian, a love of reading and a penchant for critical thinking were instilled in me at a very young age. I now have over 30 years of experience with English literature and language and a BFA to back it up.

I specialize in tutoring English for success at all levels of education and on the SAT, ACT, GED, and GRE exams. My concentrations include reading comprehension, essay composition, and research skills. I'm interested in helping you or your child understand the context required to succeed long-term, not solely on the assignment at hand.

While I am quite flexible, my time is valuable, so I ask for a 4-hour cancellation window. I am happy to travel within the Chicagoland area, but jobs on the north side of Chicago are preferable.
