Helping students learn their field is important but I would also be interesting in meeting amateurs trying to improve their passions. For the last four years, I have taught give different students the intricacies of Adobe Photoshop. I have 6 years experience of touching up photography, but also in making edits for banners, album covers, and websites.
Before I started college, I had 10 years experience in Violin, and had decided quickly that I wanted to learn how to mix and master music. Learning and honing my skills with DAW's has been my interest for awhile, and I have extensive knowledge in Logic, Audacity and ProTools in addition to my own knowledge of music performance and recording. I can also advice students on recording processes such as microphone recommendations and how to get the cleanest sound. This includes self-recordings and recording individual instruments or full bands.
