Previously I taught introductory statistics courses at two different community colleges. I have a bachelor’s degree in statistics and mathematics and a master’s degree in statistics. I think that’s all the formalities!
Throughout my academic and professional journey, my passion has always been working with students. Building relationships and getting to know students all while helping is what makes my job so fun! I know first-hand that a professor can totally change the experience you can have in a course, and I always make it a priority to give students the opportunity to interact with me, their classmates, and of course the material as much as possible. And spending one-on-one time with students is a great way to further a student’s understanding and is very rewarding from my perspective.
Content-wise, I have a ton of experience teaching introductory statistics / probability. Additionally, I am teaching an actuarial Exam P prep class and where several of my students have already passed! Maybe my favorite part of statistics is using software such as R and Excel. I am very experienced with these applications and would love to nerd out and help explore these with you!
I am easy to reach and will always respond quickly, feel free to contact me with additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
