I am an experienced educator and instructional coach with over 20 years of experience supporting elementary students and teachers in achieving academic success. My background includes classroom teaching, intervention, and leadership roles where I have worked closely with students in grades K–5 across reading, math, science, and social studies. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and an MBA in Education Management, and I have spent my career developing strong instructional practices that support diverse learners and close academic gaps.
In my current role as an Instructional Coach, I work alongside teachers to strengthen instruction, analyze student data, and implement effective strategies that lead to measurable growth. I also have extensive experience providing one-on-one and small group support through intervention, helping students who are struggling build confidence, improve comprehension, and master foundational skills. My work with Response to Intervention (RTI) has allowed me to design targeted support plans that meet students where they are and help them make meaningful progress.
My approach to tutoring is patient, structured, and encouraging. I focus not only on helping students understand content, but also on building their confidence and independence as learners. I tailor each session to the individual needs of the student, using engaging strategies and clear instruction to ensure they feel supported and successful. I believe every child can learn with the right support, and I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
