I’m a dedicated tutor with a passion for teaching social sciences, political science, geography, and history, I bring specialized expertise in military history, naval history, American history, US government, European history, and world history. My academic foundation and extensive training experience enable me to deliver engaging, structured instruction tailored to diverse learners. As a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve, I have honed my ability to explain complex concepts through regular briefings and training events, while my civilian roles have involved mentoring teams and developing educational content on history, international studies, national security, and emergency management topics.

Graduating from the Virginia Military Institute in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science—complemented by minors in National Security Policy and Military History Studies—I built a rigorous understanding of global affairs and historical analysis. I further advanced my expertise with a Master of Science in Management, specializing in Intelligence Management, from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2019, achieving a 3.7 GPA. This blend of undergraduate and graduate education, paired with certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Fundamentals of Acquisition Intelligence from the Defense Acquisition University, equips me to guide students through analytical thinking and real-world applications.

In other professional settings, I have led training and exercise planning for Department of Defense programs, conducting personal assessments, facilitating learning sessions, and managing a team of experienced trainers. These experiences demonstrate my commitment to fostering personal knowledge transfer and academic growth in varying environments.
