During college I had many opportunities to work with students. Hi I’m Haley, and I am excited about the opportunity to tutor and help others! In December 2024 I completed my degree in Elementary Education. During college I had many opportunities to work with students. I worked at a Pre-k in which I was able to teach students letters, numbers, colors, days of the week, etc. I also took a reading course which enabled me to tutor a struggling reader and help that reader better learn how to read. I worked at an after school program where I was able to lead various clubs which included art, math, and science. Lastly, I student taught in a first grade class. This helped me improve my teaching skills, one of them being learning how to teach different types of learners.
In January 2025, I took a job as a fourth grade teacher, and I absolutely love it! During my time as a teacher I have been able to see students improve in various subjects that they had previously struggled with.
I love watching students understand and grasp concepts. My goal is to help students improve in things that they never thought they would be able to! I look forward to working with you!
