He received a 720 on the SAT Math Section (top 3% for the USA in May 2022, based on Nationally Representative Sample). His ACT English score is 34 (top 3% for the USA in April 2022). In addition, John received an "A" in Algebra 1 through Calculus 2 and was accepted into top universities for Computer Science. One of these universities is Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he studied for a year and now is transferring to Purdue University to study Chinese with a minor in Organizational Leadership. He believes in ensuring that the student understands every step of the problem and can do the problem by themselves before they continue on. This involves completing practice problems to prove an idea or provide review for a specific topic. In addition to studying Chinese and Mathematics, he liked to study Spanish through conversation at his local Spanish club in High School.
