I recently graduated cum laude from IUB (gpa: 3.761) with dual diplomas in Economics and Psychology. In high school, I received the Indiana College Core Certificate with emphasis in Engineering and Biomedical Sciences. Upon entering college, I combined my passion for digital electronics/ circuit design, calculus, and CAD, along with my people skills and desire to help others through life’s many ups and downs, into a degree that centers around strategic interaction, mathematical modeling, and decision-making. My success in econometrics, micro/macro economics, finite mathematics, calculus, and statistics has perfectly prepared me to tutor on the subjects with a great modicum of expertise. I plan to leverage this knowledge to help current students through these and similar classes. While those aforementioned subjects have been my most professionally rewarding experiences, I do possess scientific knowledge in human anatomy, neuroscience, chemistry, biology, viral/infectious diseases, psychology, and network science (mostly as it pertains to the human connectome, but I do have sufficient understanding of spectral graph theory to use it for game theoretic market analysis). Utilizing my knowledge on all these topics, I could moreover help current students navigate the ins and outs of Excel, Matlab, Stata, Python, Autodesk Inventor, Multism, Git, and VSC.
So whether it be help with research methodologies, soldering a circuit board, or creating trend forecasts from big data, I’m here to support your efforts and offer help. I’ve had my share of demanding study sessions and Zoom lessons. And believe you me, I know it’s hard to go at all the information and materials alone. That’s why my tutoring style is sympathetic and organized to help encourage the student rather than add more work to their mental load. Learning should be enjoyable and rewarding, no matter age or background, and 16+ years of education has taught me that. So please don’t hesitate to reach out because I genuinely can’t wait to hear from you.
