Hello Friends! My names Tori and I’m excited to start this tutoring journey with you!
I’ve worked with kids ages 1-13 for over 7 years. Six of those years were spent teaching an after-school program, homeschool program, and summer camps through the Kroc Center! This past year before covid happened I was co-teaching kindergarten and absolutely loved it! It was sad to see it end so quickly but it led me to where I am now. I switched career paths and have been an RBT (registered behavioral therapist) for children with autism for almost a year now and I love it. I miss the one on one tutoring and ready to get back into it! Although my degree is in Social Behavioral Sciences, I have minors in psychology, counseling, and human services and did three years of early childhood education! Teaching is and has always been a passion of mine and I’m ready to be there for you and your children.

I taught kindergarten for almost a year and have three years of early childhood education under my degree. I have come up with lesson plans and different teaching techniques to help each child succeed.

Along with my reasons above, teaching kindergarten, running after school programs, going to school for early childhood education for three years, has helped a lot with different teaching mechanisms in every subject. In kindergarten we taught how to point out sight words and read them in short sentences.

I’ve worked in the schools and with the schools for over 7 years, I know how to start from the basics of tracing letters to putting them together and making words. I can help your child start from the beginning and become more comfortable writing

I am a certified registered behavioral therapist. I give ABA therapy/ one on one to children with autism for almost a year.

It’s hard to focus and learn when you don’t always have that one on one help in school. I promise to make learning fun for you and come up with learning techniques together to see what fits best for you.
