The wonderful thing about virtual learning is that it enables us to take a deeper dive into subjects in the modes that work best for you while highlighting your strengths, ensuring that you get the individualized attention and targeted skill development you crave.
I will do my best to customize the lesson to the modes in which you learn best while remaining within Wyzant’s expectations for excellent tutoring and academic honesty, along with adhering to grade-level standards! I believe very strongly in a dynamic, constructive approach focused on inquiry-based teaching methods while empowering students like yourself to take charge of their learning and have confidence in their abilities to succeed.
My background includes an M.Ed. from the University of Illinois, and I have more than 12 years of cumulative teaching experience, having worked with students in grades K-12 in addition to adult learners in the process of finishing their education in a classroom setting in addition to both face-to-face and virtual tutoring. Subjects I tutor include Prealgebra, Algebra I, Common Core math, English Language Arts, French, AP test prep and course refreshers (European History, United States History, United States Government and Politics), ISEE prep (Lower, Middle, and Upper Level).
