I am a math tutor from southern Indiana with a sympathetic teaching philosophy: Math is hard, so I work not only to effectively teach what is in a course's curriculum but also to instill in my students the confidence needed to be proficient problem-solvers. I handcraft exercises and examples tailored to a particular student's needs. Oftentimes, a well-placed example is the key to understanding.
