I started my career as a developer right after high school. I interned at a software company while attending UNC and earned a BS in computer science in my 4 years there. I immediately went into the industry developing build tools and j2ee applications. After expanding to work on apps in golang, javascript, and Kotlin, I moved into a DevOps role helping build a platform & helping our developers adopt it.

Brian and I have worked on a range of Java programming problems. Brian comes to lessons prepared and is ready to answer my questions or to work on issues I'm having with specific assignments. I truly appreciate that Brian is able to work with me at my level. He is an expert in his field, but is still able to break down concepts so that I can understand them.
