I have also taught US Citizenship Test preparation sessions both in a classroom and in one-on-one tutoring sessions. Preparation for the important citizenship interview is also a component of my tutoring regimen. I have provided guidance in the completion of the citizenship application and am a graduate of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Teacher Training Workshop.
I believe patience and encouragement are critical to effective teaching. I also believe having fun is helpful to establish a great working relationship between student and tutor.
