Although I myself am not an English major, I have always loved writing and especially the rhetoric behind it. It's important to me that ideas in papers are understood by the reader as the writing meant to convey them. Often this can get lost in sentence structure or word choice. My experience in many different fields has made me accustomed to changing my word choice as I speak to different people and has helped me learn where confusion most often occurs.
