In my reading instruction, I focus on fun! I help students build confidence by building the underlying skills that support reading and writing- phonological awareness, decoding, spelling patterns, sentence structure, and written organization- using clear, systematic instruction.
In chemistry and biology instruction, I help students self-evaluate their conceptual weaknesses before providing interactive, visual instruction. I help students work through practice problems and understand the "how" and "why" of biochemical processes.
