I work with children and adolescents who struggle with reading, spelling, and written expression. My background is in speech and language sciences, and I have advanced training in structured literacy and language-based reading instruction. I focus on building the underlying skills that support reading and writing- phonological awareness, decoding, spelling patterns, sentence structure, and written organization- using clear, systematic instruction. Sessions are highly individualized and skills-based. I emphasize explicit instruction, guided practice, and meaningful application to schoolwork so students can transfer what they learn beyond our sessions.

My tutoring services are educational in nature and designed to support academic skills development. I collaborate closely with parents to ensure instruction aligns with each student's needs and school expectations.

I received my B.S. in Speech & Hearing Sciences at Indiana University and obtained my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University in 2021. I have previously worked in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as private settings. In my pre-professional years, I was a YMCA camp counselor and director. I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association.
