I have had four years of different forms of art classes. I have taken two painting classes outside of school. Art club was a way to learn more outside of school. I have learned an abundance of art techniques, properties, and terms to help others get acquainted with them as well.

I possess strong interpersonal skills and a desire for a career in art history and studio art. Art, in all of its various forms, is the single biggest source of my ability to feel connected to others and the world. I am hard-working and love to work with others. I am capable of explaining complex issues in easy-to-understand terms. I volunteered to tutor some students with their art projects and others in art history.
I love teaching and tutoring children for many different reasons but mostly for those special moments when the light bulb goes off and a student understands. I believe in my students and their abilities to succeed overall and I make this message clear. My energy, persistence, and patience serves to motivate my student's to apply themselves and not give up. We all learn differently and at different times. Everyone needs to know that someone believes in them, and my students and future students will always know that I believe in them always.
