The majority of high school and college-level students have a hard time with science, and it isn't because they aren't smart. It's because they don't have the tools and strategies needed to succeed in these courses. I have been a chemistry, biology, psychology, and physics tutor for 9 years, and have lots of experience in helping students gain confidence and improve their grades dramatically. With so many years of experience, I am able to predict what might be on exams. I work through high-yield practice problems with students, and help them focus on the material that is important. I am easy mannered and patient, and I help students to gain the critical thinking skills that result in them getting A's in these hard classes. Not only do my students show improvements in grades, they actually learn to enjoy even the toughest of subjects.

In addition to my 9 years of tutoring science subjects, I also am now tutoring for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). I am a previous medical school student who is currently preparing to return to medical school after many years of introspection. I have a lot of insight into the type of critical thinking that is tested on the MCAT, as I had a strong score when I took the test to get into medical school, and now I currently study the MCAT material/strategy daily. I am able to tutor all areas of the MCAT, so feel free to ask me about that if you are interested!

I have now been a tutor for over 9 years, and have helped biochemistry students to build confidence, learn to think critically, and learn to excel at test taking.
