I spent 2 years doing a work study program where I got to student teach in a fourth grade classroom. I worked in an intermediate school (grades 5 and 6) where I was an assistant in the special ed classroom, but also worked as an assistant in the general fifth and sixth grade classes. I have also coached a freshman volleyball team. I have two little girls, ages two and five months so I have plenty of experience working with young children. I am very patient and able to successfully utilize a variety of teaching and studying methods.
