I am Gregory, and am from Greensburg, Indiana. I have graduated from Indiana University with BS and MA degrees in Mathematics and from Ball State University with a MA in Physics. I am currently a candidate for a MA in Teaching English as a Second Language from Horizons University. I am a certified teacher in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, and I have over 35 years teaching and tutoring experience in college, high school, and middle school mathematics, physics, chemistry, and ESL. I have taught Math and Physics in online and face-to-face classroom. I have over 15 years experience tutoring mathematics and physics students in online and face-to-face formats.

In a tutoring session, I will first ask the student what they need help with, and then ask questions to see the level of the student's understanding of the problems and where the student needs help. I will also ask the students if they would like to be taught in a certain way and how they feel that they best learn math, physics, or chemistry. Then I will work sample problems with the students, explaining the reasons for the steps. After the student feels that comfortable, I will then have the student idependently work problems at various levels of difficulty and then check the solutions and answer any questions.

I have taught AP Calculus AB and AP Physics, and had students achieve passing scores on these exams. I have also taught Developmental Mathematics, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Linear Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Finite Mathematics, and Statistics in both the classroom and online. i have also taught Physics I, Physics II (both algebra and calculus based) and Solar System Astronomy. I have also taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and AP Physics, and General Science to middle school and high school students.
