Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! I have a Master’s degree in social and political philosophy and over ten years of teaching experience. I am a tutor for all areas of history, reading, and writing. I specialize in preparing students for APUSH and AP World history and have access to Heimler's study guides, which are great resources and include practice MCQs, DBQs, and longer practice essay questions. I absolutely love history, and I try to bring my enthusiasm to the classroom and show my students that history can be fun with the right teacher. I work hard to help my students achieve their goals and improve their grades, and I am available for both quick study sessions to help boost exam scores or longer term tutoring.

Alongside history, I am also qualified to teach government, political science, and social studies and frequently teach current events material to help younger students understand the news and practice their critical thinking and debating skills.

I can also help revise essays at all levels and have helped dozens of my students get into their universities of choice.

Over the last ten years I have taught a variety of literature classes as the head teacher at an online English company. My classes focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking. I help my students to think deeply about books and to not just do a surface level analysis of the material. My younger students have earned top scores in their schools, and I have helped high school and college students who were struggling in their classes to succeed.
