I am a recent college graduate and have been tutoring since I was in high school. It first began with helping younger peers with Spanish skills but quickly extended to other classes. I tutored throughout college as well and was trained as a generalist. This means that I specialize in teaching and tutoring any subject in the sphere of the humanities. Though, I must say that English and reading are my favorite subjects!

I also have served as an academic tutor. This means that I would help one student with anything they could possibly need academically. This could be note-taking skills, which clubs to join, setting up meetings with professors, and knowing the differences between MLA and APA formats. I have a love for helping others and will always adapt to each "tutee's" learning style. No two people are the same! So, we will work together and complete the task at hand while making sure we develop deep comprehension as well.

In college I studied English literature, creative writing, and philosophy. These subjects are reading-heavy and require a lot of focus and determination. They have also allowed to me be able to speak and organize presentations very well. Not only could I do these for myself, but I have also helped my college peers do so for three years.

I have studied spanish for six years and have reached a comfortable and conversational level. Additionally, I still study each day by talking with my international friends who in turn wish to learn English.

I am open to anything and always ready to help! No matter what you need, we will work together and get the job done. Yet, I am incredibly patient and understand that every student is different. So, we will account for learning speeds, learning styles, and other factors that affect one's learning process.

My schedule is very flexible right now. Almost any date and time will work for me. Can't wait to meet you!
