Brian holds a Bachelors degree from the Hartt School, and a Masters degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. His primary teachers were Jay Friedman, John Rojak, John Faieta, Reed Capshaw, while also studying part time with Andy Malloy, Matthew Russo, and Eric Reynolds.
He has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Symphony, West Michigan Symphony, Illinois Symphony, and is a regular substitute with the Quad City Symphony, and Rockford Symphony. Brian holds the positions of: Second trombonist of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, substitute with the New World Symphony, and a regular member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
Brian doesn't teach all of his students the same thing. Each individual student learns differently and he makes sure to adhere to that so they learn quickly and have fun doing so!
