Hi there! I'm Sammy, and I've spent the last 12+ years teaching math and science in classrooms across three countries. These days you'll find me teaching middle school math and science right here in Fishers, Indiana. Physics is where my heart really is. I've taught it at both the middle and high school level, and it's the subject I know best, with Algebra running a close second.

Before landing in Indiana, I spent years as Science Department Head, Cambridge Exams Officer, and SAT/AP Coordinator at an international school in Kyrgyzstan, where I also served on the school's Senior Leadership Team. I love watching the numbers move for my students. In one role, I helped a group of Algebra through Calculus students raise their average scores by 20%, and I've guided students through IGCSE, A-Level, and SAT prep with a 90% pass rate along the way.
In the classroom, I teach physics, biology, and chemistry with a hands-on, inquiry-first approach. I'd rather my students understand why something works than just memorize that it does; that's where the real learning sticks. I hold an M.Ed. in Pedagogy (GPA 3.95). I'm a Google Certified Educator, and I'm fluent in Arabic and conversational in Russian, if that's ever useful for your family. My style is patient and direct. We break problems down step by step, and we don't move on until a concept truly clicks. If your child needs help with Physics, Algebra 1 or 2, or middle school science, I'd love the chance to work with them.
