Thank you for visiting my profile. I recently graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and currently work as an HVAC designer. In my role, I apply mathematics, physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and engineering problem-solving principles every day. My academic and professional background allows me to help students in mathematics, physics, engineering, and related STEM subjects.

Throughout high school and college, I regularly helped classmates, younger students, friends, and family members with math, science, and engineering coursework. As a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue, I completed rigorous coursework in calculus, differential equations, physics, statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and engineering design. These experiences strengthened both my technical knowledge and my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way.

My tutoring philosophy focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I work with students to identify areas of confusion, build effective problem-solving strategies, and develop a strong foundation for future success. I encourage questions, adapt my explanations to each student's learning style, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable tackling difficult material. Whether you need help with homework, exam preparation, or mastering challenging concepts, I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.

ACT Math

ACT Math

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and now work full-time as a mechanical designer in the MEP industry. Success in engineering requires a strong foundation in mathematics, and I regularly apply algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and problem-solving skills in my professional work. My engineering education and experience have strengthened my ability to solve quantitative problems efficiently and accurately, which aligns well with the skills tested on the ACT Math section. I enjoy helping students improve their understanding of mathematical concepts, develop effective test-taking strategies, and build confidence for exam day.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and now work full-time as a mechanical designer in the MEP industry. Algebra is a fundamental tool in both my engineering education and daily work, where I regularly solve equations, analyze relationships between variables, and perform technical calculations. My background has given me a strong understanding of algebraic concepts and how they are applied to solve real-world problems. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking problems into clear, manageable steps and developing a strong foundation for future math courses.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have a strong background in Algebra II through my mechanical engineering studies at Purdue University and use algebraic concepts regularly in my work as an HVAC design engineer. My day-to-day responsibilities involve solving equations, working with functions, analyzing relationships between variables, and applying mathematical reasoning to real engineering problems. I performed well in my math coursework and understand both the underlying concepts and practical applications of algebra. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking complex problems into clear, manageable steps and explaining how these skills are used in real-world careers.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I studied linear algebra as part of my mechanical engineering curriculum at Purdue University and have applied mathematical modeling and matrix-based problem solving throughout my engineering education. As an HVAC design engineer, I regularly use analytical thinking, systems-based calculations, and mathematical methods that build on linear algebra concepts. My engineering background has given me a practical understanding of vectors, matrices, systems of equations, and their real-world applications. I help students understand not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts matter and how they are used in engineering and technology.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. My coursework included thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, statics, dynamics, engineering design, and related mechanical engineering subjects. I currently work as an HVAC designer, where I apply engineering principles to analyze systems, solve technical problems, and develop practical design solutions. My goal as a tutor is to help students strengthen their understanding of engineering fundamentals, develop effective problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in challenging mechanical engineering coursework.
Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have used Microsoft Excel extensively throughout both my academic and professional career. In college, I relied on Excel for engineering calculations, data analysis, laboratory reports, and project work, and I continue to use it regularly as a mechanical designer in the MEP industry. My experience includes formulas, functions, data organization, charts and graphs, lookups, conditional formatting, and creating tools to streamline calculations and analysis. I enjoy helping students develop practical Excel skills while building an understanding of how spreadsheets are used to solve real-world engineering, business, and academic problems.
Physics

Physics

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and now work full-time as a mechanical designer in the MEP industry. Physics has been central to my engineering education and professional work, particularly in mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and energy systems. I regularly apply physics principles to analyze building systems, solve engineering problems, and make design decisions. My goal is to help students understand not only how to solve physics problems, but also the physical principles behind them and how they apply in the real world.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and now work full-time as a mechanical designer in the MEP industry. Precalculus provided the mathematical foundation for my engineering coursework, including calculus, physics, and advanced engineering analysis. I regularly use concepts involving functions, trigonometry, graph interpretation, and mathematical problem-solving to evaluate and design building systems. I enjoy helping students build confidence in precalculus by breaking complex topics into clear steps and showing how these concepts are applied in engineering and other real-world fields.
Revit

Revit

I use Autodesk Revit extensively in my day-to-day work as an HVAC designer, creating and coordinating building system models for real engineering projects. My experience includes developing mechanical layouts, working within BIM environments, creating views and documentation, and collaborating with other disciplines throughout the design process. In addition to my professional experience, I completed formal Revit training during my engineering education and earned a Revit-related certification. I enjoy helping students and professionals learn both the technical tools within Revit and the practical workflows used in industry to create efficient, accurate models.
