With a BS in Physics from Indiana University and over six years of classroom teaching experience, I bring a depth of mathematical understanding that goes far beyond memorizing formulas. My physics background means I can show students why math works, not just how, connecting abstract concepts to real-world applications in ways that make them stick. I hold active secondary math teaching licenses in both Kentucky and Washington D.C., and I've taught everything from pre-algebra through pre-calculus, including SAT and ACT math prep.

My teaching career has taken me across the globe, from classrooms in China to international schools in Mongolia and India, giving me the ability to connect with learners from all backgrounds, learning styles, and skill levels. That cross-cultural experience taught me to meet students exactly where they are and adapt my explanations on the fly.
